Receta Jiffy Cinnamon Pinwheels

Ingredientes
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 2/3 c. hot water
- 3 c. biscuit mix
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/4 c. soft butter
- 3 T sugar
- 2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Nuts and/or raisins (optional)
Direcciones
- Dissolve yeast in warm water. Blend in egg and biscuit mix. Turn dough onto surface that has been dusted with additional biscuit mix. Knead 25-30 times. Cover and let rest couple of min.Mix sugar and cinnamon together. Roll dough in rectangle shape. Spread on butter. Sprinkle sugar mix (nuts and/or raisins) and roll up jelly roll fashion. With seam side down, cut into 1 inch pcs.
- Place on greased cookie sheet about 1 1/2 inches apart. Cover with cloth. Let rise in warm place till double, about 1 hour. Bake at 400 degrees F. 15 min. Remove when done and brush with butter or possibly glaze with thin mix of powdered sugar (about 1 cup) and warm lowfat milk or possibly water (about 2 tbsp) and drop of vanilla.
