Receta Kielbasa And Cabbage Soup

Ingredientes
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1/2 sm onion minced
- 3 c. shredded green cabbage (abt 1/2 small head)
- 2 sm turnips peeled, and cut into 1" cubes
- 1 can reduced-sodium chicken broth - (14 1/2 ounce) plus
- 2 can water
- 1 x bay leaf
- 1/2 tsp caraway seeds
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 pkt sugar substitute
- 3/4 lb fully-cooked smoked sausage (such as kielbasa)
- 1 tsp red wine vinegar Salt to taste Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
Direcciones
- Heat oil in large saucepot over medium heat. Cook onion 5 min till softened. Add in cabbage, turnips, broth, water, bay leaf, caraway seeds, salt, and sugar substitute. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, partially covered 20 min, till vegetables are tender. Remove bay leaf.
- Cut sausage in 1/2-inch slices. Cook 2 to 3 min, till lightly browned. Stir sausage slices and vinegar into soup. Add in salt and pepper to taste.
- This recipe yields 4 servings.
