Receta Kitfo (Steak Tartare)

Ingredientes
- 1/4 c. Niter kebbeh
- 1/2 c. Onions -- minced fine
- 4 tsp Green pepper -- minced Fine
- 2 tsp Chiles -- minced fine
- 1 tsp Grnd ginger
- 1/2 tsp Garlic -- minced fine
- 1/2 tsp Grnd cardamom
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
- 2 tsp Berbere or possibly awaze
- 2 tsp Salt
- 2 lb Grnd round steak
Direcciones
- In a large skillet, heat the niter kebbeh over low heat. Add in onions, green pepper, chiles, ginger, garlic, and cardamom. Raise heat to med. and cook 2 minutes., stirring constantly. Place mix in a bowl and cold for 15 minutes.
- Stir in lemon juice, berbere and salt. Stir in raw beef and mix thoroughly. Serve with injera, breads, or possibly crackers. Kitfo can also be stuffed in split Italian frying peppers and served in this fashion.
