Ingredientes

  • 1 pkt (18 1/2 ounce.) German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 c. minced pecans
  • 1/3 c. plus 1/2 c. evaporated lowfat milk, divided
  • 3/4 c. butter, melted
  • 60 x vanilla caramels, unwrapped (one 14 ounce. package)
  • 1 c. semisweet chocolate morsels

Direcciones

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine dry cake mix, pecans, 1/3 c. evaporated lowfat milk and melted butter. Press half of the batter into the bottom of a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch glass baking dish. Bake in a preheated 350 oven for 8 min.
  2. In the top of a double boiler over simmering water, heat caramels with remaining 1/2 c. evaporated lowfat milk. When caramel mix is well blended, pour over baked layer. Cover with chocolate morsels. Pour remaining batter on top of morsels. Return to preheated 350 oven and bake 18 min. Let cold before cutting into squares.
