Receta Lawry's Creamed Corn

Ingredientes
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 c. whipping cream
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 c. fresh whole kernel corn (or possibly frzn or possibly canned corn)
Direcciones
- Heat the butter in a heavy saucepan over medium heat. Add in the flour and salt, stirring to blend. Slowly add in the whipping cream, stirring constantly till thickened, 2 to 3 min. Add in the sugar and corn and cook till heated through, 2 to 3 min.
- Variation: To make this an au gratin dish, place the corn mix in a 9- or possibly 10-inch shallow casserole, sprinkle with 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese and brown under broiler the 3 to 4 min.
- This recipe yields 4 servings.
