Receta Lemon Tea Cake

Ingredientes
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 2/3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. minced walnuts or possibly pecans
- Grated rind of 1 lemon
Direcciones
- Put together butter and sugar, cream till light and fluffy; add in large eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Put together flour, baking pwdr and salt, mixing well, alternately with lowfat milk. Stir in nuts and lemon rind. Pour into greased and lightly floured 9"x5"x2" loaf pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 55 min. Cool 10 to 15 min.GLAZE: Put together and mix well 1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar and juice of 1 lemon. Pour over cake. Makes 1/2 cup.
