Receta Libbys Famous Pumpkin Pie

Ingredientes
- 3/4 c. granulated sugar
- 1 tsp grnd cinnamon (see note)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp grnd ginger
- 1/4 tsp grnd cloves
- 2 x Large eggs
- 1 x (15-oz) can pumpkin
- 1 x (12-oz) can evaporated lowfat milk (may substitute low-fat or possibly fat-free)
- 1 x unbaked 9 inch deep-dish pie shell (4 c. volume)
Direcciones
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Combine sugar, cinnamon, salt, ginger and cloves in small bowl; set aside. Beat Large eggs lightly in large bowl. Stir in pumpkin and sugar-spice mix. Gradually stir in evaporated lowfat milk. Pour into pie shell.
- Bake for 15 min. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees; bake for 40 to 50 min or possibly till knife inserted near center comes out clean. Cold on wire rack for 2 hrs. Serve immediately or possibly chill.
- Note: If using metal or possibly foil pan(s), bake on preheated heavy-duty baking sheet(s).
- Note: 13/4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice may be substituted for the cinnamon, ginger and cloves; however, the taste will be slightly different.
