  1. Blend sugar, syrup and butter in skillet. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, till mix comes to a boil. Blend warm mix slowly into beaten Large eggs. (It helps to stir the Large eggs while slowly pouring in warm mix.) Stir in pecans, vanilla and salt. Pour into pie shell. Bake in 375 degree oven for about 30 min or possibly longer if necessary.
