  • Great little burgers on a stick! Makes 8
  • 1 lb grnd sirloin
  • 1 lb grnd lean lamb
  • 2 med yellow or possibly red onions [minced fine]
  • 1/4 c. green bell pepper [minced]
  • 1/2 c. red wine
  • 8 ounce tomato sauce
  • 1/4 c. Armenian or possibly Italian parsley [minced]
  • 1 tsp fresh basil leaves [Minced] Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic [crushed]
  • 1 tsp kimion [cumin]

Direcciones

  1. Combine the above ingredients and then refrigerateto hard up. Press onto wooden skewers, and make into oblong patties, or possibly treat just as you would hamburger patties. Barbeque on a warm charcoal fire. [Don't use Mesquite or possibly hickory]
  2. MAHDZOON or possibly YOGURT CHICKEN
  3. 2 Lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breasts 1 c. olive oil1 teaspoon crushed garlic1/2 c. dry white wine1 teaspoon fresh basil1/2 c. minced Armenian or possibly Italian flat leaf parsley 2 medium yellow onions [sliced]
  4. Salt and pepper to taste2 c. mahdzoon or possibly plain yogurt
  5. o Place the extra virgin olive oil, crushed garlic, wine, and basil in a bowl or possibly pan and add in the chicken breasts so they are covered with the marinade. Cover and let the chicken marinate over night in the refrigerator. Heat a Teflon chicken fry pan with a Tbsp. of extra virgin olive oil and brown the chicken on both sides. Throw away the marinade. In another pan, add in 2 Tbsp. of extra virgin olive oil and saute/fry the onions till they are golden brown. Place the chicken in the pan with the onions. Spread the mahdzoon over the chicken and onions, cover and let cook over a medium burner for 30 min. Sprinkle with the minced parsley and serve.
