  • 2.5 lb. chopped meat, or chopped turkey
  • 6 potatoes, peeled and sliced in thick pieces
  • 2 onion, chopped in large pieces
  • Another onion, chopped finely - this is to add to the meat
  • 1 bag of frozen green beans (or fresh)
  • 1 can of diced tomatoes
  • 1/2-1 jalepeno pepper
  • fresh coriander, chopped (approximately 1 cup)
  • 2 eggs
  • salt
  • pepper
  • garlic powder
  • 1-2 table chicken soup powder mix
  • 1-2 table tomatoe paste
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs or flour

Direcciones

  1. First prepare the pot of vegetables and sauce.
  2. Place the onions, potatoes and green beans in a large pot.
  3. add salt, pepper, chicken soup powder mix, tomatoe paste, and canned diced tomatoes.Add 1/2 or a whole chopped jalepeno pepper to this sauce to give it an extra tang. Adjust seasoning to your taste. Put to the side.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, place the chopped meat or chopped turkey, add the finely chopped onion, coriander, garlic powder, salt, pepper, eggs, bread crumbs or flour, and mix well.
  5. Heat the pot of vegetables, and let come to a boil. Wet hands and make small balls and place on top of vegetables in pot. Cover. When come to a boil, reduce flame and simmer 1 and a quarter hour.
