Receta Mexican Style Beef And Rice On Tortilla Chips

Ingredientes
- 1 pound lean grnd beef
- 1 med. onion minced
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 c. water
- 1 (8 ounce.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (6 ounce.) can tomato paste
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 tbsp. chili pwdr
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon cumin seed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 c. instant rice
- Tortilla chips
Direcciones
- Brown beef, onion, and garlic in large skillet. Drain. Then add in 1 1/2 c. water, tomato sauce and paste, sugar, and spices. Cover and simmer 40 min, stirring often. Add in rice and remaining 1/2 c. water, cover and cook 10 min longer. Serve over tortilla chips. Serves 4.
