  1. Spray a non-stick pan with cooking spray. Brown the beef cubes over moderate heat. Turn to brown proportionately. Drain and throw away any melted fat.
  2. Stir in vinegar and onion. Cook and stir just till onion begins to brown.
  3. Stir in remaining ingredients. Lower heat to simmering. Cover and simmer 1 1/2 to 2 hrs till meat is very tender. Uncover and simmer till sauce is thick. Skim fat, if any. If you like, serve with rice.
