Ingredientes
- 1 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 c. uncooked elbow macaroni
- 4 tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
- 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese, 8 ounce.
- 10 ounce. pkg. broccoli and/or possibly cauliflower; optional
Direcciones
- Combine warm water, macaroni, vegetables in 2 qt microproof casserole. Dot with butter. Cover and place in oven. Set microwave on high for 7 min. Stir. Cover. Cook high for 8 more min.
- Combine lowfat milk, cornstarch, salt, pepper, garlic pwdr, and dry mustard in glass measure. Stir till cornstarch is dissolved. Stir into macaroni mix. Blend in cheese. Cover. Cook high for 5 min. Let stand 5 min. Serves 6-8.
