Receta Mock Beef And Barley Stew

Ingredientes
- 12 ounce Yves(r) Veggie Grnd Round
- 1 lrg Onion minced
- 5 sm Red potatoes peeled and cubed
- 1/2 c. Celery minced
- 1 c. Carrots minced
- 1 c. Mushrooms sliced
- 15 ounce Canned tomatoes undrained
- 2 c. Vegetable broth
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 2 x cloves Garlic chopped
- 1/4 tsp Dry oregano
- 2/3 c. Barley
Direcciones
- In a nonstick skillet which has been sprayed with Pam, saute/fry onions till soft, about 5 mins. Add in garlic and Veggie Grnd Round. Saute/fry additional 2 - 3 mins.
- Spray crockpot with Pam. Add in all the ingredients.
- Cover and cook on LOW all day.
- NOTES : This is what I made for dinner tonight. It was very hearty and tasty. My husband actually had seconds and said he'd like to have this again soon.
- I failed to mention to him which this was made with soy...he really couldn't tell.
- If you do not have a crockpot, I do not see why this couldn't be made on the stovetop.
