Receta Molasses Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredientes
- 1 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. unsulphered molasses
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 1/2 c. quick oats, uncooked
- 3/4 c. raisins
- 3/4 c. minced nuts
Direcciones
- Set oven at 350 degrees. Sift flour, baking soda, baking pwdr, salt, and spices into bowl. Add in remaining ingredients and blend. To make jumbo cookies, use 1/4 c. dough for each cookie; place on ungreased baking sheets and bake 15 min. For smaller cookies, drop by heaping tsp. and bake 12 min. Recipes should yield about 18 large cookies or possibly 48 small ones.
- These taste like oatmeal cookies flavored with molasses. If you use black strap molasses, the cookies taste like molasses cookies with oatmeal. I like it both ways!
