Receta Mr Food's Mushroom Barley Soup

Ingredientes
- 4 lrg Onions, minced
- 6 lrg Carrots, peeled and sliced
- 1 lb Mushrooms, thinly sliced
- 1 lb Stew beef, cut into small cubes
- 8 c. Beef broth (made from a soup base or possibly a mix)
- 1 c. Medium barley
- 1/2 tsp Poon salt
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper
Direcciones
- All the ingredients in a soup pot and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce the heat and simmer, partially covered, for about 1 hour.
- NOTE: If you'd like, add in 1 or possibly 2 shots of Irish whiskey with the other ingredients for added flavor. It'll make it really Irish! In addition to the base recipe ingredients, you might want to add in some cut-up warm dogs and a tsp. of caraway seed for Germa 1/2 tsp. each of oregano and rosemary for Italian-style soup.
