Receta Mr Food's Shrimp 'N' Pasta

Ingredientes
- 8 ounce Pasta -- rigotoni or possibly other
- 1/4 c. Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 lb Shrimp, cooked -- peeled &
- Â Â Deveined
- 1 x Red and green bell peppers
- Â Â Cut in thin strips
- 1 c. Sliced mushrooms
- 3 x Cloves garlic -- chopped
- 1 Tbsp. Dry basil
- 2 med -sized tomatoes --
- Â Â Coarsely minced
- 1 c. Picante sauce
- Â Â Grated parmesan cheese
Direcciones
- Cook the pasta according to the package directions; drain and set aside in a large bowl. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add in the shrimp, peppers, mushrooms, garlic and basil. Cook for 3 to 4 min, stirring frequently, till the shrimp are warmed through and the peppers are almost tneder. Stir in the tomatoes and picante sauce; simmer for 2 top 3 more min, or possibly till warmed through, stirring frequently. Add in to the cooked pasta; mix well. Serve topped with parmesan cheese and additional picante sauce, if you like.
