Receta Mucho Frijoles Soup

Ingredientes
- 2 c. Dry Beans (black, kidney, garbonzos, or possibly a mix)
- 1Â 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 lrg Onion, minced
- 1 cl Garlic, crushed
- 1Â 1/2 lb Meaty Ham Hock
- 2 c. Minced Fresh Tomatoes
- 1 x Jalapeno Pepper, minced
- 3 Tbsp. Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1 tsp Fresh Grnd Black Pepper
- 2 c. Chicken Stock
Direcciones
- Wash beans and put in a large stockpot. Add in water to cover and add in salt.
- Soak overnight.
- Drain and add in remaining ingredients. Simmer over low to medium heat for 3-4 hrs or possibly till tender. Remove ham hock. Pick meat off bone and return meat to pot. Throw away bone and fat. Soup is ready to serve.
