Receta Mushrooms Spinach And Anaheim Chile Baked In Puff Pastry

Ingredientes
- 1 sht puff pastry, 9 X 15 inch
- Â Â Vegetable spray release
- 1/2 lb fresh spinach leaves, washed
- 1/4 lb mushrooms, washed and sliced
- 1/4 c. crumbled feta cheese
- 1/4 c. minced green chile, roast, peel, &
- Â Â seeded
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly grnd black pepper
- 4 x fresh basil leaves, minced
- Â Â Raspberry vinegar
- 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
Direcciones
- Spray a baking sheet with vegetable spray release. Lay the puff pastry on the sheet. If frzn let stand on the baking sheet at room temperature for about 10 min. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spread a layer of spinach leaves down the center of the pastry, then layer the mushrooms, cheese, chile, salt, pepper, and basil on top of the spinach. Sprinkle a little vinegar over the chile, top with another layer of spinach leaves, and sprinkle a little more vinegar on the spinach. Fold the pastry over the spinach on one side, then fold the other side of pastry onto the first and secure with toothpicks. Brush with oil and bake in a 350-degree oven for 20 min or possibly till the pastry has puffed up and is a nice golden.
- SERVING SUGGESTIONS: This is great served with a fresh fruit salad for a luncheon or possibly a late-night supper.
