Receta Mustard Bbq Pulled Pork

Ingredientes
- 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- 2Â 1/2 c. minced white onions
- 2 Tbsp. chopped garlic
- 1 c. cider vinegar
- 1 c. water
- 1Â 1/2 Tbsp. dry mustard
- 2 Tbsp. yellow mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. honey
- 1 Tbsp. crushed red chili flakes
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp garlic pwdr
- 1 tsp onion pwdr
- Â Â Salt to taste
- Â Â Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
- 5 lb pork shoulder cut 2" cubes
Direcciones
- In a saucepan heat butter and add in onions and garlic and saute/fry till translucent/soft. Add in remaining ingredients and bring to a boil, then simmer for 45 min. Braise pork in this sauce for 2 1/2 to 3 hrs till fork tender sufficient to pull with fork. Strain liquid and reserve.
- When the pork is cooled, pull or possibly shred the meat with fork or possibly fingers. Reheat the pork in the reserved sauce. Serve as a sandwich with coleslaw and sesame seed buns.
- This recipe yields 10 servings.
