Ingredientes

  1. Starter=1 c. flour, 1 c. lowfat milk, 1 c. sugar mixed in a large ziploc bag.
  2. Day 1: Do nothing.
  3. Day 2-5: mush bag 1-2 times daily.
  4. Day 6: Add in 1 c. flour, 1 c. sugar, and 1 c. lowfat milk. Mush bag, t will be lumpy.
  5. Day 7-9: mush bag and let out gas 2 times a day.
  6. Day 10: Pour into LARGE bowl, squezzing out as much batter as possible. Add in 1 c. flour, 1 c. sugar, 1 c. lowfat milk. Stir well. Pour four 1 c. starters into four ziploc bags.
  7. Use what is left (it will not look like sufficient, it is) and add in oil, applesauce, lowfat milk, Large eggs, and vanilla. Mix well. Add in 2 c. flour, 1 c. sugar, baking pwdr, cinnamon, salt, baking soda, pudding mix and nuts
  8. (optional). Mix well. Pour into two large greased and floured or possibly sugared loaf pans ( or possibly four small loaf pans or possibly one large bundt pan). Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
  9. NOTES : Don't USE A METAL SPOON. Don't Chill. Alternative recipe ideas. Substitute one c. whole wheat flour for one of last 2 c. of flour, use all apllesauce ( 1 c.) instead of oil and applesauce, use all oil (1 c.) instead of oil and applesauce. Substitute raisins, minced dry apricots, fresh berries, chocolate chips for nuts. Pudding combos:
  10. Chocolate pudding with:nuts, chocolate chips, or possibly peanut butter chips.
  11. Pistachio pudding with nuts or possibly chocolate chips. Butterscotch pudding with nuts or possibly butterscotch chips. My Favorite: Vanilla pudding with 1/3 c. raspberries, 1/3 c. blueberries, 1/3 c. blackberries. You can also vary the spices (i.e. nutmeg, grated citrus peel, etc.) The starters also feeze for up to six months. Use Day 1 as defrost day. You can't hurt this stuff!!
