Receta New Orleans Pecan Pie

- 2 x Large eggs separated
- 1 c. lowfat sour cream 8 ounce
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 x 9 inch pie crust baked
- 1 c. brown sugar packed
- 1 c. pecans minced

- Preparation Time: 0:25This is a wonderful new way to make the traditional pecan pie. 1-In saucepan, combine egg yolks, lowfat sour cream, flour, vanilla and salt. Cook and stir over medium heat till thickened, about 5 min. Pour into pie shell; set aside. 2-In large mixing bowl, beat egg whites till soft peaks form. Gradually add in brown sugar; continue to beat till stiff.
- 3-While filling is still hot, spread egg whites topping over filling.
- Sprinkle with minced pecans. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 min or possibly till golden brown.
