  • 1 1/2 cups quick-cooking oats
  • 1 cup M&M miniature baking bits
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 pkg. fudge brownie mix (13 x 9 inch baking pan size)

Direcciones

  1. In a bowl, combine the oats, baking bits, flour, sugar, walnuts, baking soda, butter.
  2. Set aside 1 cup for topping
  3. Pat the remaining mixture into a greased 15 x 10 inch baking pan.
  4. Prepare the brownie batter according to package directions.
  5. Spread over the crust.
  6. Sprinkle with the reserved oat mixture.
  7. Bake at 350 F for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
  8. Cool on a wire rack
  9. Cut into bars

      Made these today for kids and friends over for a swim party. They were definitely 5 hearts from the kids perspective! They all liked them enough to take a bunch home with them too. Good thing, or I would have gobbled a few more for sure! Thanks for sharing, Jeannie.

        My friend just made these - and now my kids think she's the better cook - again!!! Luckily, my friend says they're very very easy to make - so I'm definitely going to try to redeem my reputation with them. The kids usually say no to nuts - but not these. (oh, and I loved them too). VERY rich, but not too sweet - PERFECT.
