Receta Oatmeal Prune Bars

Ingredientes
- 1 1/4 c. finely minced dry pitted prunes
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 c. quick-cooking oats
- 2/3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 6 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine melted
Direcciones
- Grease 8-in square pan. In medium saucepan, combine the filling ingredients; cook over medium heat till thick, stirring frequently. Cold slightly.
- Heat oven to 350F. In medium bowl, combine all the ingredients for the base except margarine; blend well. Stir in margarine till mix is crumbly. Reserve 3/4 c. crumb mix; press remaining crumb mix in bottom of greased pan. Spread filling over base. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mix; press lightly.
- Bake 350F for 22 to 27 min or possibly till light golden. Cold Completely. Cut into quarters both directions: 16 bars.
