  • 1/2 lb Whole green peas
  • 1/2 lb Split green peas
  • 1 x Smoked ham shank, uncooked
  • 1 med Onion, minced
  •     Salt and pepper to taste

Direcciones

  1. Soak whole green peas overnight in a four qt kettle filled with water.
  2. In the morning add in split peas and remaining ingredients. Boil slowly for about 4 hrs. Remove ham shank and serve soup without straining.
