Ingredients: 4 c. sifted flour; 1 c. sugar; 4 tsp baking pwdr; 1/2 tsp soda; 1 tsp salt; 2 x Large eggs, beaten; 1 c. buttermilk; 1/2 c. butter; 2 tsp vanilla; 1 lb dry apples; 1 c. brown sugar; 1/2 c. white sugar; 2 tsp cinnamon; 1/2 tsp cloves; 1/2 tsp allspice

Ingredientes

4 c. sifted flour
1 c. sugar
4 tsp baking pwdr
1/2 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
2 x Large eggs, beaten
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. butter
2 tsp vanilla
1 lb dry apples
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp allspice

Direcciones

Sift flour into large bowl. Add in remaining ingredients. Divide the dough into 6 parts. Roll out on floured board to fill 9" pan. Bake at 450 degrees till brown. Filling: Wash apples. Cook and mash. Add in sugar and spices. Alternately stack cake layers and apple mix. This cake is better if it sets a day or possibly two before cutting.
