Receta Onion, Black Olive, And Caper Compote

Ingredientes
- 1/2 c. Extra virgin olive oil
- 2 med onions, halved and
- Â Â Sliced thin
- 6 x Cloves garlic, sliced thin
- 1/2 c. Black olives, such as
- Â Â Kalamatas, pitted and
- Â Â Minced coarse
- 1/4 c. Capers
- 2 x Anchovy fillets, rinsed and
- Â Â Chopped
- 1/4 c. Balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp Chopped fresh marjoram, or possibly
- 1/2 tsp dry
- 2 Tbsp. Chopped fresh parsley
- Â Â Salt and black pepper to
- Â Â Taste
Direcciones
- Heat two Tbsp. oil in large saute/fry pan. Add in onions and saute/fry over medium heat till softened, about 5 min. Add in garlic; saute/fry till fragrant, about 1 minute longer. Turn onion mix into medium bowl; stir in remaining ingredients. Serve compote hot or possibly at room temperature.
