Receta Orange Rice

Ingredientes
- 2 Tbsp. Butter Or possibly Margarine
- 2/3 c. Sliced Celery
- 2 Tbsp. Minced Onion
- 1 c. Uncooked Rice
- 1Â 1/2 c. Water
- 1 c. Orange Juice
- 2 Tbsp. Orange Peel, grated
- Â Â Salt, to taste
Direcciones
- Saute/fry celery and onion in butter till vegetables are limp. Combine celery-onion mix with rice, water, orange juice, orange peel, and salt in steaming pan. Cover and steam till rice is done, 18 to 20 min.
- Uncover and allow rice to dry out, 3 to 5 min. Adjust seasoning if necessary. Fluff with a fork before serving.
- NOTES : Agreeably pungent, orange rice is a perfect accompaniment for duck or possibly other poultry.
