Receta Original Red Velvet Cake With Frosting

Ingredientes
- 1/2 c. Butter
- 1Â 1/2 c. Sugar
- 2 x Large eggs
- 2 Tbsp. Cocoa
- 2 ounce Red Food Coloring
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 c. Buttermilk
- 2 c. Flour
- 1 Tbsp. Vinegar
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 c. Lowfat milk
- 5 Tbsp. Flour
- 1 c. Butter
- 1 c. Granulated Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla
Direcciones
- CAKE: Cream together butter, sugar and Large eggs. Make a paste of cocoa and food coloring. Add in the paste to the creamed mix. Mix salt and vanilla in buttermilk and add in a;ternately with the flour. Mix soda and vinegar separately, add in last, folding in. Don't BEAT after adding soda mix.
- Bake at 350 for 30 min. ICING: Boil together lowfat milk and flour till thickened. Let stand till cold. Cream together butter, sugar amd vanilla.
- Add in lowfat milk and flour mix and beat very well. (The longer you beat it the better it gets)
