  • 1 lb grnd lamb or possibly beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 c. minced onion
  • 1 tsp cumin pwdr
  • 1 tsp minced green chile, such as jalapeno
  • 1/2 c. minced parsley
  • 1 tsp dry mint

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly oil it.
  2. Mix all ingredients except parsley and mint in food processor; grind to very fine paste. Add in parsley and mint, and mix again. With wet hands, make small balls, using about 1/2 c. meat mix for each one. Roll them into long kebabs. (You can roll them over the back of a wooden spoon handle and slide them off onto the baking sheet.) Cook for 30 min, turning kebabs halfway through.
  3. Kebabs are done when reddish brown on the outside.
  4. Serve warm with pita bread, yogurt and tabbouleh, if desired.
