Ingredientes
- 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- 1 x red onion finely minced
- 3 x garlic cloves finely minced
- 1 c. Myer's dark rum
- 3 c. chicken stock
- 2 Tbsp. ancho puree
- 1/4 c. molasses
- 2 tsp coarsely-grnd black pepper
- 4 x filet mignon steaks - (8 ounce ea)
- Â Â Salt to taste
Direcciones
- Heat butter in medium saucepan over medium heat and sweat onions and garlic. Add in rum, bring to a boil and reduce to 1/4 c.. Add in stock, bring to a boil and reduce heat. Whisk in ancho puree, molasses and pepper and simmer till reduced to 1 c..
- Preheat grill. Season steaks on both sides with salt. Cook for 2 to 3 min on each side till medium-rare.
