- Boil water and butter in saucepan. Add in pancake mix. Stir vigorously till batter leaves sides of pan and forms a ball. Remove from heat. Beat large eggs and add in to mix. Spread mix on bottom and sides of 9" greased pie pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 min; reduce heat to 300 degrees for 10 min. Spread filling on top of puff; top with whipped topping.
