  2. In another bowl, beat egg; add in buttermilk and oil. Stir into dry ingredients just till blended. Pour batter by 1/3 cupfuls onto a lightly greased warm griddle; turn when bubbles form on top of pancakes. Cook till the second side is golden. Serve with butter and syrup.
  3. Yield: 1serving or possibly 3 pancakes.
