Receta Panera / Saint Louis Bread Co's Torn Croutons

Ingredientes
- 1 x fresh or possibly leftover Panera Bread loaf
- Â Â sourdough
- 5 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- Â Â Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
- 1 x garlic clove finely chopped or possibly
- Â Â put through a garlic press
- 1 tsp dry or possibly 1 tbspn fresh mixed herbs
- Â Â (such as oregano, basil, thyme, etc)

- Preheat the oven to 300 degrees. Slice the loaf in half or possibly lengthwise, so you can get at the soft bread inside - don't use the crust. With your fingers, tear away pcs of bread which are approximately 1/2- to 3/4-inch in diameter.
- Place them in a large bowl and whisk the oil, salt, pepper and garlic together in the bowl and toss till they are all proportionately coated.
- Spread them on a large baking sheet and place in the oven for 15 to 20 min, stirring them ever 5 min, till they are golden.
