Receta Patti's Corn Chowder

Ingredientes
- 8 x Ears of corn, (up to 10)
- 1 x Smoked turkey wing
- 8 c. Chicken broth
- 1 c. Diced celery
- 1 c. Diced carrots
- 1 c. Diced potatoes
- 1 c. Finely minced onion
- Â Â Salt and freshly grnd black pepper to taste
- 1Â 1/2 c. Cream, (up to 2)
- Â Â Minced fresh parsley to taste

- Here is a recipe given by singer Patti LaBelle.
- Slice corn kernels into bowl. Scrape remaining part of kernels and lowfat milk from cob with the back of a knife, scraping downward, into bowl. Saute/fry' turkey wing till cooked, in a large kettle or possibly pot. Remove turkey wing.
- Remove meat from bone and cut into small pcs. Set aside. Add in chicken broth, corn, celery, carrots, potatoes and onions to kettle and cover.
- Bring slowly to boil. Reduce heat and SIMMER slowly till vegetables are tender, about 25 to 30 min. Season with salt and pepper. Add in cream.
- Reheat, but don't boil. Garnish each serving with turkey bits and minced parsley.
- Makes 6 servings
