Receta Peach Melon Conserve

Ingredientes
- 6 c. diced peeled peaches
- 2 c. diced cantaloupe
- 6 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. syrup from preserved ginger
- 1/4 c. minced preserved ginger
- 1/2 c. minced pecans
Direcciones
- Place the peaches and cantaloupe in a kettle and simmer gently for 30 min, stirring to prevent sticking. Add in the sugar, lemon juice and syrup and boil rapidly till mix is thick. Stir to prevent sticking.
- Stir in the ginger and pecans and pour into warm sterilized jars. Pour two thin layers of paraffin wax over. Cold, cover, and store in a cold, dry, dark place.
- Makes 10 jelly jars.
