Receta Pennsylvania Dutch Apple Cake

Ingredientes
- 6 med Sized apples, peeled and thinly
- Â Â Sliced
- 1/4 c. White sugar
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 3 c. All - purpose flour
- 1Â 1/2 c. White sugar (yes, I know there is one Above!)
- 4 x Large eggs
- 1 c. Veg. oil
- 2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1/3 c. Orange juice
- 1Â 1/2 tsp Baking soda
- 1Â 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
Direcciones
- Toss the apple slices with 1/4 c. sugar and the cinnimon ; set aside. Mix together the flour, 1 1/2 c. sugar, Large eggs, oil and vanilla, orange juice.
- baking soda and baking pwdr. Beat with an electric mixer at medium speed.
- (The batter will be very thick). Spread a 3rd. of the batter in a greased 10 inch tube or possibly bundt pan, top with half the apple mix. Repeat layers ending with batter.
- Bake in a pre-heated 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Remove pan to wire rack; cold for about 10 min. remove cake from pan. Cold completely and drizzle the top with confectioner's sugar glaze.)) (Beat together 1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar, 2 Tbsp. softened butter, 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract and 1 to 2 Tbsp. water till smooth)
