- Onion â Sliced thin

- Fennel
- Seeds / Perum Jeerakam -1 tsp
- Whole Black Pepper -1 tsp
- Red chilly powder â ½ tsp
- To be crushed in a pestle and mortar (do not powder):
- Cinnamon Sticks / Karuvapatta- 2â piece
- Coconut oil / Sunflower oil â 2 tbsp
