  1. Cut potatotes into 1/4inch slices, place the potatoes and water ina micorwaave-safe bowl, cover and micorvwave on high for 8-10 min or possibly till tender. In a skillet, saute/fry thinly sliced beef and garlic in oil till meat is no longer pink. Remove and keep hot, drain drippings. In same skillet, saute/fry green petter and onion unitl crisp-tender. Return beef to the pan. Add in potatoes and pepper, heat through. In small saucepan, combine cornstarch and broth till smooth. Bring to a boil, cook and stir for 2 min or possibly unti thickened. Drizzle over meat mix toss to coat. yield 6 servings
