Ingredientes

  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1 x 13 ounce. can evaporated lowfat milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 c. pinon nuts

Direcciones

  1. Heat 1 c. of the sugar in a heavy pan, stirring with a wooden spoon, till dark brown. Add in rest of the sugar and stir in lowfat milk gradually.
  2. Cook to hard ball stage (a drop forms a hard ball in cool water).
  3. Remove from burner. Add in vanilla. Beat till creamy. Mix in nuts.
  4. Pour into a buttered 8-inch pan. When hard, cut into squares.
