Receta Pinwheel Cheese Pie

Ingredientes
- 5 well-beaten Large eggs
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2/3 c. undiluted Carnation evaporated lowfat milk
- 1/3 c. water
- 1 tbsp. finely minced green onion
- 8 slices day old bread
- Soft butter
- 6 slices cooked crumbled bacon
Direcciones
- Combine Large eggs, cheese, evaporated lowfat milk, water and green onion. Pour into buttered 9-inch pie plate. Trim crust from bread, lightly butter. Cut each slice of bread in half diagonally. Place bread triangle in egg mix overlapping pinwheel fashion. Sprinkle bacon over bread. Bake in a moderate 350 degree oven for 40 to 45 min or possibly till knife inserted halfway between edge and center comes out clean. Cut and serve. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
