Receta Pork Chops With Apple Cherry Stuffing

Ingredientes
- 1 x 6 oz package herb stuffing mix
- 2 med stalks celery minced (1 c.)
- 1 med tart cooking apple peeled and minced
- 1 med onion minced (1/2 c.)
- 1 c. dry cherries
- 1/4 c. margarine or possibly butter melted
- 1 c. chicken broth
- 6 x pork boneless loin chops about 1/2 inch thick
Direcciones
- Spray inside of 4- to 5-qt slow cooker with cooking spray. Mix all ingredients except pork. Place half of the stuffing mix in slow cooker; top with pork. Spoon remaining stuffing over pork.
- Cover and cook on low heat setting 6 to 8 hrs or possibly till pork is tender.
- 6 servings.
- Substitution: Many super-markets now carry a wide variety of dry fruits. Dry blueberries or possibly cranberries are a delicious substitute for the cherries.
- Serving Ideas : Steamed green beans and baked sweet potatoes are tasty accompaniments for the pork chops.
