Receta Pork Stew With Vegetables

Ingredientes
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 lb pork tenderloin cut 3/4" to 1" cubes
- 1 med onion coarsely minced
- 1 x celery rib sliced
- 1/2 tsp dry basil leaves
- 1/4 tsp dry rosemary leaves crushed
- 1/4 tsp dry oregano leaves
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. chicken broth
- 1/2 pkt frzn mixed vegetables - (16 ounce)
- Â Â (carrots, potatoes and peas)
- 1 jar sliced mushrooms - (4 1/2 ounce) liquid removed well
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1/8 tsp grnd nutmeg
- Â Â Salt to taste
- Â Â Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
Direcciones
- Heat oil in large skittle over HIGH heat. Add in pork, onion, celery, basil, rosemary and oregano; cook till pork is browned.
- Place pork mix in crockpot. Whisk flour with chicken broth; pour into crockpot. Stir in frzn vegetables and mushrooms. Cover and cook on LOW 6 to 8 hrs.
- About 15 min before serving, stir in lemon juice, nutmeg, salt and pepper to taste. Serve over rice.
- This recipe yields 3 to 4 servings.
