Receta Potato & Ham Cheddar Chowder

Ingredientes
- 1 lg. onion, minced
- 1/2 c. minced red or possibly green pepper
- 1/2 pound ham, diced
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 4 med. potatoes, peeled & diced
- 1 can (13 3/4 ounce.) chicken broth
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1 container (10 1/2 ounce.) Spreadery cheese snack med. cheddar cool pack cheese product
- 1/2 teaspoon grnd white pepper
- Parsley
Direcciones
- Saute/fry first 3 ingredients in butter in saucepan. Add in potatoes and broth. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Cover; simmer 15 min or possibly till potatoes are tender. Stir in lowfat milk, Cheese Snack and pepper. Cook over low heat till Cheese Snack is melted and chowder is warm, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with parsley. Serves 6. Preparation time: 20 min. Cooking time: 35 min.
