Receta Prosciutto Wrapped Figs With Blue Cheese Cream

Ingredientes
- 6 x ripe figs
- Â Â (preferably Black Mission)
- 6 piece prosciutto thinly sliced
- 1 c. heavy cream
- 1/2 c. crumbled blue cheese more for garnish
- Â Â (such as gorgonzola)
- 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- Â Â Chervil sprigs for optional garnish
Direcciones
- Wrap prosciutto around figs. Bring cream to a simmer. Slowly whisk in cheese till it is dissolved, about 1 minute. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Place wrapped figs in a heated saute/fry pan with extra virgin olive oil and pan fry till lightly crisp and soft to the touch, about 2 min on each side. (Note: If fig is still hard, it wasn't ripe sufficient. Place in a 350 degree oven for an additional five min.) Remove figs from pan. Cover the bottom of a bowl or possibly rimmed plate with sauce. Place figs in bowl or possibly on plate and crumble additional blue cheese over them. Garnish with chervil sprigs. Serve warm.
