Receta Quick And Easy Red Velvet Cake

Ingredientes
- 1 box Duncan Hines Yellow Cake Mix (no pudding in the mix)
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1/2 c. oil
- 4 x Large eggs
- 1 ounce red food coloring
- 1 c. lowfat milk plus 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 x 16 oz package powdered sugar
- 1 x 8 oz package softened Philadelphia Cream Cheese
- 1/2 c. softened butter
- 1 tsp Watkins vanilla flavoring
- 1 c. minced nuts
- 6 Tbsp. flour
- 1Â 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 3/4 c. butter
- Â Â 1/1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla flavoring
Direcciones
- Cream the first four ingredients till well blended. Stir in pecans. Spread on cake.
- Mix all above. Bake in two 9 inch pans at 350 degrees for thirty min. Cold on wire rack. (Cut into four layers or possibly leave as two large layers.)
- Frost with fluffy butter frosting Or possibly cream cheese frosting.
- Fluffy Butter Frosting:Mix flour and lowfat milk and cook till thick, stirring constantly with wire whisk. Cold.
- Cream butter, sugar and vanilla till fluffy.
- Add in lowfat milk mix and blend well. Spread on cake layers.
- Cream Cheese FrostingCream the first four ingredients till well blended. Stir in pecans. Spread on cake.
