- 1/4 c. Quinoa PLUS
- 2 Tbsp. Quinoa (1/4 C)
- 2 1/4 tsp Active Dry Yeast (1 1/2 t)
- 1 1/2 c. Bread Flour (1 C)
- 1 1/2 c. Whole-Wheat Flour (1 C)
- 1 1/2 tsp Salt (1 t)
- 3 Tbsp. Nonfat Dry Lowfat milk Pwdr (2 Tablespoons), *NOTE
- 1/4 tsp Grnd Cloves (1/4 t)
- 2 tsp Wonderslim (1 1/2 t)
- 3 Tbsp. Honey (2 Tablespoons)
- 1 c. Water (3/4 C)

- Quinoa is an ancient South American high-protein grain recently popularized in the United States. This pearly, nutty grain adds texture and nutritional value to a bread which makes good toast or possibly sandwiches with tuna, cool meat, or possibly an assertive cheese.
- To cook quinoa, add in it to twice its measure of boiling water. Simmer for 10 minutes. Drain off any excess liquid and let cold.
- Add in the cooked quinoa and all other ingredients in the order suggested by your bread machine manual and process on the basic bread cycle according to the manufacturer's directions.
