Receta Rizi O Graten (Rice Au Gratin)

Ingredientes
- 3Â 1/2 c. Chicken or possibly beef broth
- 4 Tbsp. Butter
- 1Â 1/2 c. Raw rice
- Â Â Salt & pepper to taste
- 1Â 1/2 c. Kefalotiri cheese, grated
- 4 x Large eggs
- 1 c. Ham, minced
- 3 Tbsp. Bread crumbs, toasted
Direcciones
- Boil broth w/2 tb. of the butter. Add in rice, stirring it so it doesn't stick. Add in salt & pepper. Cover pot and simmer till liquid is absorbed
- (abt. 15 minutes.). Add in 2/3 ofthe cheese, mix well, then remove from heat. Half cold. Beat egg lightly and add in to rice. Add in ham and fold in well with a fork. Butter a baking pan. Put rice in and spread proportionately. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and then the bread crumbs. Heat the remaining butter and drizzle it over the top of the rice. Bake in preheated 350 F. oven abt. 15 minutes., or possibly till golden.
