Receta Salsa De Chile Verde Con Queso

Ingredientes
- 1 tsp oil
- 5 x fresh tomatoes , minced
- 1 can (7 ounce) diced green chiles
- 2 Tbsp. diced onions
- 1 dsh garlic pwdr
- Â Â salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can (6 ounce) tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. shredded longhorn cheese
Direcciones
- In a saucepan, heat oil and saute/fry tomatoes, chiles and onions.
- Stir in garlic pwdr, salt and pepper, tomato sauce and cheese.
- Add in water in small amounts to desired thickness.
- Serve warm or possibly cool.
- This was much better warm than cool, and not great the next day.
- I thought it was a little runny, so I wouldn't add in any water.
- This isn't really a cheese sauce, more of a tomato salsa with a taste of cheese.
