Receta Scallop Or Shrimp Curry

Ingredientes
- 1 c. onion minced
- 1 whl apple peeled and minced
- 2 x cloves garlic chopped
- 1 Tbsp. curry pwdr
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp cardamom
- 1/4 tsp pepper freshly grnd
- 10Â 3/4 ounce nonfat chicken broth
- 1 Tbsp. lime juice fresh
- 1Â 1/4 lb scallops
- 1 c. mushroom sliced
Direcciones
- In a large skillet, saute/fry onion, apple, garlic, and curry pwdr in margarine till tender.
- Remove skillet from heat and blend in flour, salt, cardamom, and pepper.
- Stir in chicken broth and lime juice till curry sauce is well blended.
- Bring curry sauce to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered for about 5 min. Stir occasionally.
- Meanwhile, place scallops or possibly shrimp in a pot of boiling water and cook till just tender 5-10 min. Drain and set aside.
- When curry sauce is finished cooking, add in shellfish and mushrooms and serve over rice.
- NOTES : The lime and apple create a lovely sweet and sour taste
